Dining Reservations and DVC Reservation Number

Hi All.

I have been reading where quite a few people are stating that they are having a very hard time making reservations for dining using the 180+10 due to the online dining system not recognizing DVC reservation numbers.

Is there a trick I should be aware of when doing this to avoid any issues?

I know I can call member services, but considering that they do not open until 9 AM and people can start booking online 3 hours earlier, I would like to try to get them booked online. Two of them will be a bit harder to get.

Worked fine for me. We're renting points for our October vacation and were able to do online dining reservations for 180+10 with that reservation #.

This hasn't been a problem in a very long time - they worked this out awhile ago. System is totally fine to accept DVC numbes. I have made a zillion ADRs online as we go for 2 weeks at a time, 2 TS meals per day.

That being said, now is a bad time for online ADRs, as the new system is coming online. The site has been down periodically for days, and so there are glitches.

I just booked online 180+10 and it had no problem recognizing my DVC reservation number. I ended up having other issues tying to bring up the ADR's I made over the phone,via the "My Disney Vacation" suitcase button, but that was because I had two login id's for one email(my dvc login id and a wdw website login id) so I had to call to IT to staighten things out.

I made online ADRs yesterday with no problem. I actually got a lunch reservation for Le Cellier on Nov. 3rd, can you believe that? Wheeeee....!

My ADR window is coming up very soon, so it's great to hear that the system seems to be working fine. Good luck to everyone making those holiday ADRs!

Mine worked fine too.
Make sure you are logged-in on the Disney site also.

I think one time my Res. number didn't work.
I waited a minute and did it again and it worked fine.
I think sometimes the system just gets overloaded.
So if it doesn't work try again, don't give up.

Is the time 6 AM EST when you can start booking or is it earlier. I know there were some issues with the time at one point....I recall being able to make ressies at 3 AM for my December trip. I am sure that is long gone now.

I have never been successful using my DVC reservation number....I have tried for several trips since the system went online long ago to last fall, to a couple of months ago when my 180+10 was due and as recently as this week. I guess the system just doesn't like me

Yes, it is 6am EST. I made my ressies a few days ago too and had no trouble. I tried to get started at 5:59 am just to see if it would work but the full 180 +10 day window did not open up until 6am Good luck!

This was also my experience 2 weeks ago. 5:59 = no go, 6:00 = 180+10.

I had no problem using my DVC reservation #.
