Dining Reservation Weirdness

I’ve been trying to make dining reservations for Saturday night July 3. From 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM there is zero availability for any venue. Almost every single day in June has some availability, as does May. Has July just not opened up yet, or is that Saturday just monumentally busy?

It’s likely dining reservations have not opened up yet. DLR is notorious for not releasing dining reservations right at the 60 days mark. Keep checking back.

Yup, they released 60 days out from opening before the reopening and haven't had a new dining reservation drop since. At this time, June 28th is the furthest out. However, with the recent announcement of new restaurant openings, maybe they'll start making end of June and early July ADRs available.

Disneyland Resort has announced reopening dates and reservation availability dates for the following restaurants.

• Paradise Garden Grill (opening May 13)
• Alfresco Tasting Terrace (opening May 20 exclusively for Legacy Passholders and their guests; online reservations available May 18)
• Blue Bayou Restaurant (opening May 27; online reservations available May 18)
• Napa Rose (opening May 28 – dinner only; online reservations available May 18)
• Storytellers Café (opening May 28 – breakfast and dinner – no characters; online reservations available May 18)
• GCH Craftsman Bar (Online reservations will be available May 28)

Does anyone know what time they release the reservations? Do I need to be up at Midnight for a 12:01am booking on the 28th? Or is it a 8:00am PST kind of thing?

Reservations for dining normally open at 6:00am Pacific Time.

This isn't like WDW where, if you don't get your ADR right when your window opens, you're out of luck. DL is typically a little more flexible.

So bummed about the menu change at Blue Bayou!!!! We were looking at the menu and assumed it was correct, but they must have just changed it over because now it's completely different with the added alcoholic beverages.

I wonder if they'll still have other options (like the prime rib or vegetable pasta) that are not listed?

I thought I would enjoy it, but I felt really nauseous the rest of the day after eating a fourth of it. I think it's the grease. Everyone seems to really enjoy it, though, so it's just my weird thing lol

I wouldn’t say that right now. While some places, like in DTD might have a lot available, many reservations for in the parks went right away. My neighbor tried the night they went live and couldn’t get anything for a family of 4. Normally, I agree with you though.

Some dining availability is starting to open up June 29 and beyond. Though after July 1, it’s only Cafe Orleans available. It looks like it’s being added slowly through July 9 so far.

I received notification texts from my reservation finder over night for Cafe Orleans and Lamplight Lounge for July 1st and 2nd.
