hey everyone!

It’s our 180 day tomorrow for our October holiday- so excited! We have a rough draft of where we would like to eat so tomorrow is the day however I have a few questions....
1/ does our whole week reservation open tomorrow (reservation is linked on mde and we are staying at kidani) or is it day by day?
2/ what time does reservations open for uk booking? I thought 12 noon?!
3/ is it easier to do via mde or should we call? If we call- anyone have the number? We are also dvc members of that makes a difference?
4/ I’m wanting to book Victoria and Alberts for my husbands 40th on the Sunday (28th) and I’ve heard it’s better to call for that. Anyone have a number for V&A?! From the uk so a uk number would be ace!
5/we are staying another 2 weeks but not on site so do we have to have fingers crossed day by day for those dining reservations to still be available on the 180 day prior (if you see what I mean)

Just checking MDE has reservations open till the day before we check in and some of the times we would like are not free

Thanks for your help!!

1. Yes as long as you are on site you can book up to ten days ahead
2. 12 noon
3. Yes MDE, DVC doesn’t make a difference
4. Sorry, can’t help with that one
5. You may be able to book the full ten days ahead, for the rest it will be day by day

Excellent advice from Pooh's Honey Pot.

We arrive for my 60th on 6th October and booked all our ADRs at the 180 day window on MDE with the exception of Yak and Yeti. Yak and Yeti only have tables with a minimum seating of 6 so as a party of 8 we had to book with the restaurant direct. I phoned 0800 1690 730, the number on my Disney invoice and spoke to a CM in the USA who offered to give me th direct number for the restaurant. I asked if they could transfer me which they did. I would give that a go.

As far as question 5), you will only be able to book dining for 10 days from check-in day or for the period you are staying on site, whichever is the lesser. For the remaining days, you will have to book day by day 180 days prior to each day.

Thanks everyone for your replies- we booked what we wanted yesterday and will have to wait for the rest to open up! Getting excited!

Thanks agaib

We did Victoria and Alberts a couple of trips ago, I also booked it as a birthday dinner for my husband. You need to call V&A directly to call their number is on their website, it’s a completely different number than the Disney dining one.

You will need to call exactly 180 days out to book and be very quick off the mark as there are very few tables and they book up like hot cakes.

I booked V&A's on MDE just like any other dining. We only did the main room, which was great for us, it was my adult son and me. I think I booked it about 20 days out from our trip.

i didn't notice you asked about victoria and albert's
here's the V&A website: http://www.victoria-alberts.com/reservations.html
and here's the link within the disney WDW website: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_GB/dining/grand-floridian-resort-and-spa/victoria-and-alberts/

and the phone number is: 407-WDW-DVNA (939-3862)

i ate there about 6 years ago i think.....it was amazing!!!!! best food i've ever had....and i say that as a vegetarian....
it was super yummy!!!!! i had to speak with them by phone, since i wanted to notify them that i'm a vegetarian....

We also wanted to book Minnie’s Hollywood and vine, trattoria al forno for the Bon voyage breakfast and be our guest for dinner... and maybe a few others. These were the main ones but I guess I’ll have to wait and book these at 180 days out! The breakfast one is for my dds 5th birthday so hopefully I can get it!! Also need to book bbb for our girls!!

I booked our ADRs today and managed to get everything that we wanted at the times that we wanted! One of our ADRs was for the Bon Voyage b'fast and I had no problem, there were lots of different times available. Good luck, I hope that you manage to get what you would like!
