From my understanding, if you book a Magic Your Way package, you can book your dining reservations 180 days out +10 (for all the days in your package) - correct?

Can I do this with a reservation made through a TA or does the original reservation have to be made directly through Disney?

Also, if I do book through a TA and I can book 180 days +10, can I do all of that online or do I have to call Disney to make those reservations?

I'm getting conflicting information from my TA and if it will be an issue, I will just book directly through Disney. :confused3

Ok, let me see if I can answer your questions.

1. Yes, you can book ADR's @ 180 +10

2. If you booked through a third party in their name (ie. expedia, cheaptickets or another wholesale vendor) then they have to make any changes to the reservation. This applies to room requests, etc.

3. You can make all ADR's online, all you need to do is create an MDE account and link the hotel reservation to the account. That will open up your dining dates.

Your best bet is to do them online, in my experience.

Good luck!

Thank you so much! I figured this to be the case - howevever everytime I ask AAA travel agents, they tell me that I have to book each individual day...I'm so confused by this! I figured that once I had my reservation number I could reserve my dining for the whole trip 180 days out!

so let me get this straight.....we arrive at the Contemporary on August 24th so the first day I can make dining reservations is February 25th?? not ten days before February 24th??

thanks....

That's correct, you'll be able to make them at 6AM ET on February 25th. I'll be making my ADRs as well, I'm arriving August 24th too.

The +10 refers to the fact that you can make reservations for the first 10 days of your trip when you're 180 days out from your arrival date, not that you can make reservations 190 days before your arrival date. By comparison, if you're not staying on property, at 180 days out from your arrival date, you would only be able to make reservations for the first day of your trip. You would then have to wait until you're 180 days out from each date that you want to make a reservation for.

thanks to both of you....

Hello, we also have a confirmation reservation arriving on August 24! We have account and linked the reservation. So, we can do the 180 +10 ADRs online as well, and not have to call? Thanks.
