Dining res. prior to park opening

We are thinking of reserving the Minnie & Friends breakfast at the Plaza Inn. On a day when the park opens at 8:00, how do you enter for a 7:30 reservation? We've done every character dining at DLR except this one, so I'm not sure how it works. Thanks!

That is likely a MM/EMH day when the park opens at 7AM for select guests.

In any case they will have an entrance just for Plaza Inn breakfast reservations and your name will be on the list.

We did this a couple of years ago, with an 8:00 AM reservation before a 9:00 AM park opening. We lined up at a specially marked gate (at the far left that year) and then were escorted to the restaurant.

It was a GREAT way to start the day. We were the second or third family into the restaurant and were greeted by characters almost immediately. For a while we had them all to ourselves! And there was no pressure because the park wasn't even open yet (no MM/EMH that day), so we weren't missing out on rides, etc. When the park opened, I went over to Space Mountain for fastpasses while the family was finishing up. Highly recommended!
