Hello. I am trying to narrow down place to eat for the quick service because are using the dining plan- my df and I didn't have a problem picking table service- matter of fact we made and list and it was like 30 places.. hehe Now we are trying to decide on the quick service places because as of right now I only have 1 for sure- Pinocchios village haus. Any suggestions? Any of your fav. places would be great- so I can finish planning out our schedule.

At Magic Kingdom, we love Columbia Harbor House; at Epcot we love Sunshine Seasons; at Animal Kingdom we love Flame Tree Barbeque. Unfortunately, there are no quick services at MGM that we like. If we had to pick one, it would probably be Backlot Express.

The food court at Pop is a CS restaurant. Also we liked Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom; great sandwich and a huge dessert!

In Epcot there are lots of places to try in the World Showcase; pick a cuisine and go for it.

Pecan Bills in MK ,Pizzafari (sp?) in AK ,Most of the World Showcase in Epcot ,but Iam sorry to say MGM is a bit poor really, can't say I'd recommend any!

We like cosmic rays in MK
Sunshine seasons in Epcot
Pizza Planet in MGM
Flametree BBQ in AK

We like the Fish n' Chips in England World Show Case.
They are cooked fresh (never found them greasy)
love putting the Malted Viniger on them--yum!!
We also like to go around back and sit
by the Water--not crowded and a good view.

We always eat at Pizzafari in AK and love
to sit on the back porch. To get to the
back porch, go all the way to the back of the
restaurant and then hang a left (says Exit) then
out the door turn to you right and go all the way in the
back ( we have eaten out there several times--all by ourselves)
very beautiful location and quite.

Some of our favorites:
Sunshine season in Epcot
Flatbread Grill in MGM
Flamingtree in AK
Columbia Harbour House in MK
Peco Bill in MK
Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD
Yorkshire Fish and chips in Epcot
I better stop now, because my quick favorites have turned into a very looong list already.

We like:

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot
Pizzafari in AK
Cosmic Rays or Columbia Harbor House in MK
Pizza Planet in Hollywood Studios

Thanks times a million! :thumbsup2 A lot of those are ones I actually was considering.. WE are also staying the Pop Century this time- and it is a first! I have heard multiple time that Pop has the best quick service meal of all the value resorts- so this makes me happy because I felt the food at ALMovies was pretty good. There were only a few things I didn't care for but they werent disguisting either..

I am soo glad that I can get some feedback because I was talking to a disney world webiste person on the chat option and I swear they would not give me a suggestion for nothing.. it was like every answer was another question.. I know they aren't suppose to say- this one sucks and this ones awesome- but they could at least suggestions popular places.. or something.

Lastly, what about quick service meals that go with the dining plan for the waterparks? One of the days we are spending time at the waterparks and I would hate to have to leave and go to another park just for quick service- only to return to the waterparks.. but if I have to I will.. hehe I would rather leave and return and have my meal be delicious and worth the money.. then eating something not so fantastic!

Thanks again and if you would like look me up for my pretrip report .. I am typing it today actually.. well the beginning of it.

As soon as I finish the first post I am adding clickable access to my signature! :rotfl:

Thanks! I will FORSUURREE be eating there because I love fish and chips- its actually one of my df and I favorites. There is not many places that have good ones either- sometimes they are soo greezy- that it makes the batter soggy.. yuck! So I will def. add this one! :cool1:

Wow, the responses you got already are fantastic!
We share a love for Flame Tree and Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom.
Columbia Harbor House in MK, and Pecos Bill, really good.
Epcot, Cantina at San Angel Inn and Morocco's Tangerine Cafe (no, don't be afraid of Moroccan food, it is awesome) and in France the little pastry shop...just follow your nose and the smell of butter.

And if you happen to wonder into a hotel, there is a salad at Wilderness Lodge's Roaring Forks that has nuts and apples and is enormous.

But, after I read everyone else's suggestions I got hungry and realized how quickly I miss WDW, and we were just there in December.

Our favorites:
Cosmic Ray's or Columbia Harbor House in MK
Sunshine Seasons in Epcot
Pizza Planet in MGM
Flame Tree BBQ in AK
The biggest servings/value are definetly Cosmic Ray's and Flame Tree BBQ. Hope this helps.popcorn::

I'm not scared of Morrocan food.. or anything thats there really.. my DF is because he doesn't want to try something and not like it and it be a wasted meal- but we are trying all different types of places while we are there.. I'm going all out this time and exploring the food! popcorn::

I will be sure to bookmark this thread! Not sure whether or not we'll want to be making ADR and this way we'll know where the good counter service restaurants are!

We like cosmic rays in MK
Sunshine seasons in Epcot - the best, and much to choose from
ABC Comm. MGM
Flametree BBQ in AK - we try to eat here twice a trip

One of our favorite CS places is Captain Cook's at the Poly.......very easy by monorail from the MK. They have some great sandwiches for lunch or we've even stopped for breakfast and that was also very good. Another good breakfast or lunch CS is Roaring Forks at Wilderness Lodge....again easy to get there by boat from MK......both make a nice mid day break from the park.

Both waterparks have counter service that are on the dinning plan. Just you basic fare, burgers, chicken strips, salads. Check out the menus at allearsnet.com

Just had this last week and was pleasantly surprised!

Our favorite CS Places that we return to at least once a trip are Columbia Harbor House, Tangierine Cafe, and Wolfgang Puck Express.
