How do the quick service dining plans work?

Do you get a certain number of days to use the meals?

Do you need to purchase ahead of time?

Do you need to make reservations at the HP area restaurants?

you should be asked when you pay your charge after ordering if you want to buy the quick service plan.

signs are up at all the eateries advertising it.

when i go to the 3 B's, i always buy it.
the qs covers the entree meal, a beverage and you get a coupon for one snack and one beverage to use within the next 14 days.
dates of purchase on coupon and notice of length of time it is redeemable.

no reservation required in advance for the 2 pottsland eateries.

if my meal at the 3 B's cost me 17.99, and i pay 3 or 4 more for the meal deal, i can come out ahead.
i use the snack coupon for a butterbeer which could be $4.99 now.

i use the snack coupon for the dipping dots or ice cream which could be over $3.50 now.
use it at boulangerie for a cheese cake dessert/treat. you won't find items priced under $3.00 there.

you choose the snack you want but use it on the higher end items.

use the beverage coupon for a soda or water in the parks.

the list of snacks and beverages for the coupon will be found on the UO website.
check it out and plan it in advance if you want to save a few bucks.

i usually come out ahead by $5 some days.

the places where i always buy them from are at the 3 B's and Louies

i buy them when i am at the check out counter to pay for my food.

We do the quick service meal plan when we plan to do 3B's too. We get the chicken and ribs platter which is one of the more expensive options. We only use the snack credit for frozen butterbeer. On most other days, we don't do the meal plan. And even on 3B day, we don't do the meal plan for all 5 of us. We are used to drinking water with our meals so we look at if we'll save money on the entree + snack.
