For those of you who have done Hoop De Doo....Do they serve "kid friendly" foods? I know that its like a homestyle meal but for very picky eaters who will only eat chicken tenders or something every kid likes..can you do this?

Also...I have 2 kids...7 and 11...what character meals would you recommend...weve done chef mickeys for dinner and will probably do this again, but what else.. we might plan to do one breakfast but generally we like to do the dinners best becuase we are not morning eaters. they really dont have fav characters although my DD mentioned she would like to have a meal with goofy. Is he at any of the meals? :confused3

Tell your Hoop server when you arrive what your child will eat.
They are very accomodating.
But the "regular" Hoop food is fried chicken (drumsticks aplenty) and meaty individually-sliced for easy-eating ribs.

The Land Grille in Epcot is a very good character meal with good old "American Food". Usually Mickey and Chip 'n Dale and Pluto.

Liberty Tree in MK is good for dinner (Thanksgiving dinner-type food, plus kids meals). Goofy is a star here.

Thank you! All sound like good choices. Im not very fond of thanksgiving type foods but for goofy we can deal! Let me know if you think of any more that would be fun.

We did Chef Mickey's twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both times were awesome! The characters there are great. Especially Minnie and Chip & Dale. Food is awesome (loved the breakfast pizza).

Crystal Palace was also awesome. Excellent food and the characters were awesome. My 3 1/2 year old DS came out of his shell.

Donald's Breakfastasaurus was also very good. Great food, though not as much time with the characters. They came by quickly.

Liberty Tree was good. The characters went by quickly, but they also did come by more than one time. Food was good. Platter of turkey, roast beef and ham was yummy.
