Dining Questions: Help

My husband and I and our 4 year old daughter are planning to visit WDW on 10/14-10/19. Have I waited too long to get reservations at the better restaurants? Where are the best places to eat? Do I still have a chance to get in? Also, should I call every week to see if there have been any cancellations for the Cinderella breakfast?

It's technically never too late, but you may want to start finalizing some dining plans for your upcoming trip. Sure, free dining will be over by then, but tables may still be hard to get into.
Either check out the menus here or on allears for meal ideas.

Regarding CRT, definitely call as often as you see if and see if there's a cancellation. Call every morning if it means that much to you-we did that a couple years ago and finally caught a cancellation and got in.

Keep calling and try to get in. You could also try a lunch or dinner there. For dinner the princesses do not walk around but you see Cindy in the lobby. Also, Norway princess dining is easier to get into and I hear the princesses are just as much fun over there. Good luck and have a great trip.
Make sure you do Crystal Palace if she likes Pooh, Tiger, and Piglet!!

Also, you could try 1900 Park Fare (it is in a different spot but Disney dining could help you with the location). They have Cinderella there too.

If you can't get CRT try the princess breakfast in Norway at Epcot. We have done and prefer Norway. If this is your first visit you might also consider Chef Mickey's at Contemporary. It was a must visit on our first and second trip.
We have done the following and I would be happy to tell you anything about them:

Nine Dragons
1900 Park Fare (Breakfast and Dinner)
CRT
Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package

Those are the ones I can think of!

I think you should still be able to get some good ADRs. I made all of our reservations at 180 days out with no problem, but then with all the planning and planning, I called back this week to change 4 out of 7 of them! We are also going in Oct. so it was about 90 days out, too. The only thing I had to give up was our Le Cellier dinner for a lunch there and they encouraged me to keep calling back for a cancellation if we really wanted dinner.

Keep calling back for CRT! We got a lunch ADR last year and really loved it--the food was great and it was a nice break in the middle of our MK day.

both CRT and Princess Storybook have cancellation policies with penalties (CRT is a really heavy penalty) so there's almost always cancellations last minute and before. I believe CRT's policy is 24 hours, PSB (and most others that have one) is 48 hours. i've heard many stories of people getting CRT while at WDW the day before or even day of.

but just the same... i'd be calling every day.. at least 3x a day... and you might want to use 800-828-0228, option 3.

You are not alone, we are planning on going the same dates as you but I am unable to book a reservation because of DH's work (he may not be able to go). I will not book dining until then so I hope some places will still be open!
