Can you answer we have booked a dining plan (quick)
and when i was looking on the website to book some character meals it said save 20% if you have a dining plan.

does that mean because i have quick and am paying for the other meal i will get 20% off........

Hi, not sure where you are looking, but I take that to mean if you buy the dining plan it's 20% cheaper than paying at the restaurant. Not that having the QS plan gives you 20% off. I could be wrong though.

I think you'll find that the 20% discount is for Tables In Wonderland members. There is no discount off the TS price for those with the QS dining plan (if that is what you are asking).

you're right

If you look at the WDW site, it say if you buy the dining plan (not quick service) you can save up to 40% than buying the meals individually. obviously around 20% for buffets.
usually these costs are based on getting the most expensive items at each meal & snack etc.

With the QSDP, you'll have to pay the full price im afraid.

No, it's the Dining Plan Advertisement

From what I get, it states that purchasing a dining plan will allow you to save up to 20% (compared to the Out Of Pocket price) which is of course a "best case scenario" and is seldom achieved by guests.

but you won't get any additional discount

QSDP doesn't give you any discounts on Table Service meals I'm afraid. If you are considering a bunch of TS meals, I'd suggest checking how much it would be to upgrade your existing plan to the DP as this may work out better for you.
