The next time we go we have some definites but I'd like some input for other places/options in case we can't get PS/reservations. We'll be staying 3 days in the park, so we'll only need 1 other place to go. I need to keep the bill under $100 including gratuity for 2 adults and 2 children. Here's our musts:

  • Goofy's. Input on which meal (bfast, lunch, or dinner) would be appreciated.
  • Lunch at Blue Bayou. Other than the Monte Cristo (dh calls it Monte Crisco lol) what would you recommend? what about the kids? Can we get the pirate ship for dessert during lunch service?
Thanks so much!!!!!

I say go to Goofy's kitchen for either Breakfast or Dinner. They serve the same food for breakfast and lunch.

At the Blue Bayou I'm not sure what they offer for the kids meal, but I know you can get the pirate ship because I got it at lunch time :) I hope you enjoy it because ours was DELICIOUS!!!

For your kids I would recommend going to the Rainforest Cafe in DTD. Its not too expensive and they'll enjoy the atmosphere. Or if you're looking to budget a little you can get a pizza at Naples.

I hope this helps !

Blue Bayou is our favorite dining establishment in DL for lunch. My son liked the salmon. DH liked the mahi-mahi. And I enjoyed the prime rib. You can get the desserts for lunch. Looking at the menu, It will be close to keep the bill under $100, especially with dessert but it is worth it. The creme brulee is yummy!

Here's a link to the menus:

Thanks so much for the input!!! I showed dh the pic and he's as excited as the girls lol! Wow, I never thought I'd pay $100 for lunch! I guess dh and I will be splitting a plate.

ETA: I just found a RFC an hour from my house. I may skip the DTD location and try for something more "unique". Every time I see a post about Mimi's I remember all the raves about the soup.

That Pirate ship brownie looks yummy!

One more calorie laden food added to my must try next trip list.

We took our DD, SIL and GS a few years back and our total was over $250! :scared1: It took me a while to recover from the shock!

Looks like I better brace myself again... we are taking some friends with us in November. There will be 7 of us again but no kids. I may be in the back washing dishes!
