My wife and my parents are going to WDW next year. My DW and i want to have a 'special' dinner. When we went to DLR last year we went to Blue Bayou. We would like to do something like that again. Good food, somewhat more expensive, awesome theme. What do you suggest? We are thinking either Coral Reef or San Angel Inn. But we would like any suggestions.

At Epcot what about Le Cellier?

California Grill and Jiko are both very nice too.

San Angel Inn does have a very nice atmosphere.

California Grill, Fulton's Crab House, Jiko. If you want something very expensive, but very delicious, you could try for a ressie at Victoria & Albert's, but you have to make those pretty early.

For resort restaurants, I think very highly of Citricos, Flying Fish, and Jiko. These are Signature restaurants with highly skilled chefs, very nice interiors, excellent wine lists, and experienced servers who are knowledgeable about wine.

For adult dining in a theme park, Bistro de Paris at Epcot (upstairs from Chefs de France) is great. It's elegant French dining. It's not on the Disney Dining Plan at all, so they have no need to fit into the 1-TS or 2-TS model. They only take reservations 30 days out.

Le Cellier at Epcot is a good steakhouse, but getting a reservation requires more advance planning than any other non-character restaurant.

Coral Reef is fun, but it's very popular with families with young children due the a aquarium wall. Also, Coral Reef is the prime example of a restaurant where the menu has been "dumbed down" for the Disney Dining Plan (it's a 1-TS restaurant).

I highly recommend Citricos. We had a great meal there last May and I told my parents to go a couple of weeks ago. They totally agreed that it was the best meal they've had in WDW. We all plan to go back in December.

For a nice restaurant at the "resorts".....Citricos (GF), Jiko (AKL), Flying Fish (BW) and California Grill (CR)

In the parks....Le Cellier (EPCOT-Canada); Bistro de Paris (EPCOT-France) and Brown Derby (MGM)

Jiko or Citrico's. The lighting is fairly dim at Jiko's and I would say gives a more romantic feel, but the food at either restaurant is awesome.
