I need some suggestions from those who have attended MVMCP in prior years as to what time to make ps for and where to go suggestions. We are attending MVMCP on Nov. 30 th and the night before will be going to the Spirit of Aloha show so I don't think I want to do LTT. We will be on the Platinum package so cost is not an issue and have considered CRT but am open to other suggestions, such as the restruants served by the monarail. If we were to go to one of the restruants served by the monarail will it be difficult to get back into the MK for the party?
Sorry for the length of the post and so many questions.
By the way it is just DH and myself.
Thanks for any suggestions.:D

We stayed at the Contemporary in 2000 and ate at Chef Mickey's before the party. Then we walked over to the party.

You can then enjoy Main Street in the dark with the decorations and snow falling down.

If I were you I would get to MK no later than 6:30. Even if you eat earlier, you can enter MK BEFORE the park closes at 6:00p with just your MVMCP ticket.

If you do eat at a monorail restaurant, allow plenty of time to eat and then get to the park. It all depends on when you'd like to arrive.

I've also eaten in the park at CP and LTT before the party and liked already being in the back of the park when the party started. The ONLY down side is not being able to enter the park at dark with the atmosphere on Main Street....although, you will see all of this later.

Good luck.

Last year we sid the Plaza Restaurant before the party. We were able to walk up and wait about 10 minutes. I think we got there about 5:15pm. The food there is good, and so is the ice cream. Then we just went into Tomorrowland to wait for the party to begin.

We like the Plaza since the food has always been good, you can sit and relax, but it's more of a place that you can get good sandwiches/burgers/salads - not a big big heavy meal.

You can make PS at the 60 day window to make sure you get a seating that you want.

Thanks both of you.
Kelly-Ann, thank you for the Plaza suggestion. We both enjoy it as well and I didn't realize that it was open before MVMCP. That is going to be our plan I think since I don't think I want to eat a big meal and then have to try to stay up and enjoy the festivities.
Also, the point about eating off site was great I didn't even think about missing the magic of main street at the start.
