Do you really need them? Can you even get them if you aren't staying at one of the DL hotels? I'm interested in options for Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast, Storytellers Cafe (??) also for breakfast, Hook's Pointe for dinner after the park closes, and the Plaza Inn (or is it Pavilion?) for breakfast.

Thanks!!

Rajah.....I made a couple for us. We will be there same time as you and I don't think it will be packed but I wanted to have a couple just in case. Of course it was great for us to book the Blue Bayou (our fav) without having to go stand in line.
They did not ask me if I was a guest but did ask where I was staying?? guess that contradicts itself. ha ha :p

I don't think you have to be staying onsite to book them.;)

If you're going in off-peak season, I don't think it's necessary, EXCEPT for Blue Bayou. We were there last October (first week) and walked into quite a few restaurants with little or no wait. The only PS I made was for Blue Bayou, which you definitely need a PS, and also one for Storyteller's Cafe character breakfast, which probably wasn't necessary, but I did it to be safe.

The only place we waited was ESPN at 3 p.m., but I wouldn't recommend that place anyway.

We ate at Y'Arriba at about 7-7:30 p.m., and got in no problem, but when we left, there was a line! However, I understand they've since closed (too bad, it was great!). We walked into Hook's Pointe and didn't have to wait.

We were just there a few weeks ago and I made PS for Goofy's kitchen and BB.

When we checked in at Goofy's at 8:00am, the gal ahead of me was told there was a 45 minute wait. This was on a Wed and the parks didn't open until 10:00. We were late for our PS and still only had a 5 minute wait.

Make the PS if you can. I know it's hard to figure out when you will be ready to eat, but I would rather have the PS then wait 45 minutes with my two girls.

Yes, I would make them, no matter what the season, for the more popular restaurants such as Goofy's Kitchen and the Blue Bayou. We have a lot of locals here who eat there too, year round. :)

Interesting, the number I call for Disney Dining is:
