OK we have about 6 days in the parks

DS loves Donald...should we do Chef Mickeys for breakfast OR Donalds Safari breskfast?? anyone done supercalifragilistic breakfast?

DD is a Princess lover, should we do fairytale lunch at royal table (is this the one *IN* the castle) or storybook dining @ Akershus Royal hall OR Gaooily ever after dinner...would LOVE to see the godmother

Crystal Palace? I think I understand this is Pooh and characters?

we arrive on saturday and MOST LIKELY will NOT to a park...so should we want to do something for a nice dinner...WCC maybe? Ive read great reviews on this...

lastly do these REALLY book up 6 mos in advance? i guess for the best times... Thank YOU SOOOOO much for your input!:worship:

son is a Donald fan then Tusker House in Animal Kingdom is probably what you want.

For your daughter there are really three choices; Cinderella's Royal Table (CRT) which is in the castle, Princess Storybook Dining in the Norway pavilion in Epcot (also refernced as Askerhaus) or Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian.

The high/low points

CRT - usually hardest to get and the most expensive (two table credits on the DDP). Cinderella is always in the lobby. There are usually four characters in the dining area for breakfast and lunch usually at least a couple of other princesses and sometimes the fairy godmother. Dinner has the FG, Suzy and Perla doing a little show with limited interaction. This is our preferred. We usually do lunch. Breakfast is generally the hardest followed by lunch then dinner.

Askerhaus - more princesses usually, easier to get in, prices are scheduled to go up in April (?) but I have seen no definitive word on whether the DDP credits will increase. Biggest potential negative is that it is not in the castle.

1900 Park Fare (dinner) - probably the easiest to get and soon to be definitely the least expensive, focused on Cinderella, the FG, Suzy, Perla and Prince Charming. He is a rarity. We have not been but the character interaction is supposed to be great. Probably the biggest weakness is the focus on the one story which limits the princess scope - that is unless the Cinderella story is a big hit.

Crystal palace is my personal favorite character meal. The food at breakfast and lunch is very good and the characters are Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet.

There are other good character meals. Garden Grill in Epcot, Liberty Tree Tavern dinner in the MK and Ohanas in the Poly are often cited as favorites.

The best times for some of these do book 180 days in advance. A CRT or Crystal Palace breakfast ADR before the park opens will need that much time. With one of these you can enter the park early and take fantastic uncrowded pictures.

There is a wealth of information on this board and others. Click on the dining tab at the top of the page and you can access a brief description and menu for all of the restaurants.

Good luck.

Thanks so much, I plan on working the parks with EE and Late nights, so I will plan with that, I hope they are out there for august now!

OK so I think I will do Donald instead of chef mickey...

I will talk to DD on princess - im sure she will want the castle but I will read this to her!

and I think we will do crystal palace, all ive heard it that it is a favorite!
