Dining plan?

I’m not necessarily looking to save money- we added the plan to our package out of ease of having it paid for in advance - but the more I’m learning about the eating choices I’m seeing that some places we want to try aren’t included. Also if I’m understanding correctly the restraunt at pacific resort isn’t included- is that correct? Has me rethinking the dining plan since that is where we are staying. Thoughts?

avoid it! Universal dining plan is not a good deal.

Because the hotels are not owned by Universal, they do not accept the dining plan cards - they can only be used at the theme parks and Citywalk - you would need to factor this into your decision-making.

I have never find them to be worth it.

It can save you a few bucks but you have to make sure that what you order adds up to more than the dining plan cost.

I had bought the dining plan for my trip and I just returned it and got the money back in Gift Cards. I didn't realize how expensive it was. I like to pre-pay my meals so that I don't have to worry about it when I am there. The WDW meal plan is good for that. However, I am paying over $60 a day for food. I won't eat $60 a day in food.

I ended up canceling it. Too many of the places I want to eat weren’t included.
