Dining plan

I have a question about the Disney Dining Plan. We are renting points for a stay in June. When we did this last year we also purchased the dining plan. We have 2 friends who will be spending days at the Disney parks with us but not staying at the hotel with us. Are we able to have the owner of the points purchase meal plans for them too?

Dining plans are only available to registered guests of Disney resorts. You would have to add them to your reservation in order for them to get the dining plan.

Which shouldn't be a problem at all, as long as you'd still be within occupancy limits for the room.

You'd have to list them on your reservation to buy the DP for them and you'd have to do so for the entire LOS. Technically you are not supposed to be able to use DP credits for those on the plan.
