I will be vacationing with a child that will turn 3 the second day of our vacation. I have purchased a park ticket for him. I am staying at the Kidani villas. Can I purchase the little guy a meal plan?

Yes, just register him as a 3 year old and he will be eligible.

Sure, just identify him as being 3 for the trip (which he would be) and you can add him to the DP with the rest of your family.

Enjoy! :)

Technically he doesn't need a ticket because it's day 1 of the trip that creates the need or lack of for ticket options is my understanding. Don't use the ticket for this trip, save it for later. The DDP question is a different one and you could do it either way. Most 3 y/o would be better off not getting the DDP and paying OOP, buffets would still be free.

I agree with Dean...I don't think he needs a ticket as long as he is 2 on day one of the trip. Save that ticket for next time! And for any sit downs he will be free...I wouldn't worry about the dining plan for him.

The two posters above are correct....if your son is 2 the first day of the trip, you do not need a ticket for him. This was the case for us last year, he turned 3 the third day of our trip. He does not need a ticket the entire trip. The dining plan, even the child's meal plan, is probably too much food for a three year old. Now that you bought your ticket, save it for a future trip. You end up saving money there as well, just based on future ticket price increases.

Have a great trip!

I agree! Save your money! Using snack credits and paying OOP will be cheaper not to mention the cost of a park pass.
