Any News about the dining Plan after December 31st? I was told they would be announcing first week of august?

The information should be available this coming week, because 2007 packages are being released tomorrow, so all the details should be set.

I spoke with GS and they said the price was going up $1 to be $38.99. Not too bad and I feel still certainly worth it (for us)

You might want to zip over to the dining board as the new plan has been released the lack of participating restraurants for 2007 may make you rethink the plan. Very little participation in EPCOT next year. Unless some of the countries rejoin, there is very little places you can use the plan in WS. Only 4 restraurants in WS are still on the plan and hardly any CS in WS. CSR is not listed as a participant and DTD lost most of their participants. The OP has a link to check out the new brochure for 2007. This is a real deal buster for us. And I would like to think that the missing CSR is just a typo because how will Disney get folks staying there to use the DDP if you can't use it where you're staying.

Interesting. It didn't seem like that many when I first looked, because we were only planning on visiting one of the places that is no longer participating. I don't think we'll let it affect our decision to use the Dining Plan, though, because, we're clearly happy enough with the TS selection, with only one change necessary, and all of the CS we wanted to visit are also still participating.

well i just added the dining plan to our trip. took 8 seconds after they picked me up. they never asked if i needed tickets. just that i will pay for it at check in. thats it. done deal

i hope to love it too. this will be our first time using it. it is more than i wanted to spend but the great food i willbe able to order is well worth the extra money.
