DINING PLAN WITH VIRGIN

We have holiday booked with Virgin for 2018 which includes the free dining plan .Not sure what this will include I.e how many TS credits etc we will get. Can you " save" credits to pay for meals if you are dining with someone not on plan?

First thing you need to do is check which dining plan they have given you. Is it the Quick Service (QSDP) that only includes quick service restaurants (you order, get your food, then find a table) or is the Regular Dining Plan (DDP) which includes 1 QS and 1 Table service (seated at a table by cast member, given menu, you order and food is brought to your table).

If it is QSDP, then everyone gets 2 QS meals per NIGHT that you are staying. If it is DDP everyone gets 1 QS and 1 TS for every NIGHT that you are staying. Both plans also receive 2 snacks per person, per night and the refillable mug.

Your credits are "loaded" from the time you check in and you can use them until midnight of the day you check out. "Loaded" means that ALL the credits are ready to be used. You can eat three meals in one day and only one meal on another. You can eat six snacks in one day. You can use your credits to "buy" someone else a meal. BUT once your credits are gone, they are gone.

We book with Virgin and the free dining you get depends on the resort you are booked at. (although DXDP is never free) values are QSDP and Deluxe are DDP. Not sure where mods fit in. It should list what dining plan you have on your invoice though.
