When we go in April, my youngest will be a couple months under 3, so she will not be covered under the dining plan. I know it says that she can share from our plates.

I am just imagining the meltdowns when she sees something my older daughter got, that she wants, also.... so I am planning on paying out of pocket for certain things she may also want.

I also scheduled mostly buffet or family-style meals, since I figure that would be easier for her to get what she likes, instead of having to share my food and force ME to order what I think she will likes!

Any other thoughts to help me avoid havoc?

It's generally not worth adding an under-3 child to DDP unless you're only doing menu-service TS and expect to order a kids' meal for the child at each of those meals.

Sounds like you already have a handle on the best course of action -- pay OOP for those meals and take advantage of the buffets, etc., where she is already eating for free.

If you are doing mostly buffets, and it's only a few meals you need to worry about...splurge and buy her a kids meal. You shouldn't need to order what you think she'll like. You're on vacation. Treat both of you! :goodvibes

Thanks! I guess I shouldn't be too worried. After all, this daughter can go a week without even thinking about food :)
