Dining plan with Marathon package???

Hi everyone! Quick question for you. I swear in the August newsletter it said starting in August you could book the dining plan with the marathon package but when I called yesterday they said you can't do it.
Does anyone know the answer to this? Was I just speaking with a CM that wasn't too sure?

Hi Rebecca,

I just checked the WDW Marathon 2010 travel package stuff and it doesn't mention being able to purchase the dining plan. It lists everything else, but that.

Yes I was told when I booked my package you couldn't book the dining YET and couldn't do it online but I'm sure it said in the email you could book dining in August with the marathon package. Anyone else has any thoughts on this?

The last live chat, someone asked the same question, and they where told that you can have the dining plan, but you could not book it until september.

September eh? Thanks! I guess now that it's September I'll have to give them another call. Funny that I called August 31st and they couldn't give me any information on it! lol. Oh well!

Karen NY: I just called the disney number and found out that there is no dining plan for 2010. Is that true?

Kecia: Hi Karen - actually, no. There will be a dining plan for 2010, but it will not be available for sale until September. If you've already booked your travel via our website www.disneyworldmarathon.com or by calling 407-wdw-irun - you'll just need to call back in September to add it to your itinerary.
