Dining Plan with AP?

Not sure if this is where this belongs but....

Im a first time AP holder, I have my room booked with the BRP, can I still add on the dining plan? Or can my mom (non AP pass) add on the plan? We enjoyed the dining plan and the places we got to eat (places we usually dont get to eat at), thanks in advance!!

Sorry, but with an AP you cann't have the dining plan. If your mom is staying in your room or a room purchased with BRP she can't add it on, either. To be eligible for dining plan you must have room booked, and at least one day of a MYW ticket. Bummer isn't it?

But with AP you can get the DDE card for $50 which will save you up to 20% off at most Table Service resturaunts for up to 10 people.

The key is you have to buy a room/ticket package to add the dining plan. AP rates cannot be made into a package, neither can DVC points rooms.

To get the Dining Plan the room must be booked at either Rack or AAA rate; no other discounts are allowed. Each person on the reservation must take the dining plan for the number of nights on the reservation and each person must buy at least a one day base MYW ticket and the tickets purchased must be the same for all on the reservation.

no, the dining plan is only available with the magic your way packages (which include room & tickets). what you can do as an ap holder is buy the dde card for $50 which saves you 20% off most meals.

With the AP you also get 10% discount at some of the resorts TS restaurants and some of Epcot's TS restaurants for lunch only. Also Planet Hollywood and Rain Forest Cafe at DTD for lunch and dinner. Thats without paying for the DDE card. Though I have the DDE card and love it especially for HDDR.
