Dining plan while renting DVC?

If I book a WDW resort stay with DVC by renting points (I do not own any DVC), can I still take advantage of the free dining plan offer for 2026?

We have four kids, so it could potentially save money on food for us. Or do you have to book direct through Disney to utilize the dining plan?

The free kids dining offer for 2026, yes. That is available to DVC; you'll have to pay for the adults.

If a more traditional "free dining" offer comes out again, no that does not work with DVC points reservations.

Oh ok gotcha, thanks. Would you happen to know how we secure the free kids dining offer for 2026 when we are not booking our stay on the WDW website, instead on a DVC rental website?

The owner of your reservation would have to add it for you.

If you are going through a broker, the contract would explain how it works.

If you are going through a private owner, then you’d have to discuss with them before booking the reservation.
