Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't find anything.
I have a family of 6, with kids that are 9, 8, 5, and 3. We decided to stay in 2 adjoining rooms for our next trip. The 2 youngest and I don't eat very much, but the other 2 and DH do. I was thinking about getting the regular dining plan(QS + TS) for just the other room and pay out of pocket for TS meals to split between me and the younger 2. Then I figured we'll just pick off of the plates of the dining plan family members when we're at QS or just supplement with something extra out of pocket(since they don't really check anyways). Last time we went with the dining plan for everyone, it was way too much food for us and I felt like we wasted so much.
Is the hassle worth it? How does it work at TS if half the party doesn't have a dining plan? Would I need to make 2 orders at QS, or can they just use my dining credits and then charge me the difference?
