Dining Plan Snack

Each item requires 1 snack credit, so that would be 2 snack credits.

Word of advise - use your snack credits wisely - pay OOP for a bag of chips and use the snack credit for an ice cream or something more expensive. We use our alot of breakfast and can get a muffin or danish with them...

Yes, it's one credit for one single serving item. I noted with interest last year that they had items for 99c (I think they were little marshmallow things) which they advertised as qualifying for a snack credit. I didn't even know Disney had anything for under $1 and although I don't mind using snacks for a water or soda, I did draw the line at a $1 item

We use the snack credits for things other than drinks, we have found it most cost effective. This xmas trip we used sc for cupcakes(huge ones at starring rolls and contempo cafe), mickey gingergread cookies and huge gourmet cookies at goofy's in DTD, hummus dip at Mara in AKL, cheescake and carrotcake. On departure day we did use the last two for bottled drinks for the road and I did use one for latte at DAK one day.

We never waste sc, we hit the counter service or general store(DVC) on check-out day to use them up for our return trip to Boston.

I have no desire to worry about "maxing" out the plan. If someone wants to use a snack credit for a bottle of water or $1.00 bag of candy so be it. If/when we run out of credits, we will use cash.

This is my families first time travelling to WDW with the dining plan! We are so excited but definitely want to get the most bang for our buck. Does anybody know where i can find a complete list of dining plan approved snacks? I know i've seen one before but i cant find it now

We loved the frozen coke and lemonade on really hot days. We had the deluxe plan so we didn't need to use credits on anything but beverages.

Frozen cokes and lemonades, oh and Dole Whip Floats. Those are our favorites on a hot day. We usually get 2 or 3 a day and end up paying for snacks by the end of our trip!
