Dining plan reservations

I am letting some friends use our points for a trip. They want to get the dining plan. Once the reservation is made, can they make their own dining reservations, or will I have to do this? We haven't done this but once before and i'm not sure how it works

If they are already under 180 days until their trip, they can make ADR's online now, whether or not the room is booked. If the 180 day mark is still coming and the room is booked, you could give them the DVC confirmation # to put into their own profile on the WDW website; then they would be able to make ADR's at 180 + 10. The DDP can be purchased at any time, as long as it is purchased at or before 48 hours prior to arrival. The DDP won't affect the ability to make ADR's.

As the previous post said, they can make all reservations online or by calling dining. If they register online @ the WDW site & make reservations that way it can all be saved in their profile. You may need to add the dining plan for them through member services. They can also complete online checkin with just their reservation number prior to arrival. You can for them through the member website too. You don't need a credit card to complete online check-in (last I completed this for someone else, anyway).
