Dining Plan Questions

Hi,
Still a bit confused on how the dining plan thing works, and exactly how much it costs. I did a search and wound up being totally lost

Here's my questions, and I hope they make sense: (thanks in advance!)

Can the meal plan be purchased separate from the resort, or must it be tied into a resort package? We're all set with the resort (BCV)

If not,
Does (or can) the meal plan get tacked onto park passes? We're looking at 4 day MYW Hopping passes w/ no expiration, no plus options.

Or can the plan be purchased, totally separate from everything?

And finally,
How much extra is the Dining Plan, and is it worth it, overall?

The dining plan can only be added to a package. You need to book a resort and ticket package. The tickets can be as short as 1 day. If you booked a resort and ticket package together then you can add the dining plan.

The dining plan costs $35/adult and $10/child. This cost is per day. If you are staying between 8/21 - and 10/4, the dining plan is free, if there is still availablity.

If you currently have a room discount you will lose it, you can only have one discount for the package.

Only you can decide if it is worth it. Where and how do you plan on eating. If you plan on doing one TS a day, then it will probably save you money. The only rease I booked our August trip was because of the free dining.

Joiseymom answered everything. Just curious why you're getting no expiration on 4 day pass. Do you have extra to use up?

Thanks for the info.!

We usually get an extra day for our next trip, and another reason is should someone get sick and not go to a park (happened to 2 of us on one trip), it'll come in handy another time.
