We are heading back to Disney on July 26th - 28th. Here are our dining plan questions

1. Where can I get a complete list of Snack credits? We saw a waffle with fruit that would make a great breakfast but is that reallly just a snack credit.

2 We are taking our two grandkids age 5 and 6. We heard all the credits are pooled together. So we should have 6 credits per person or 24 total. (Delux Dining Plan) now the question. If we meet our son and daughter for dinner at the park can we use the kids meal credits for them and pay for kids meals?

Any help or tips would be welcome

Thanks Jory & Sandi

1. The fresh fruit waffle sandwich is at Sleepy Hollow, but not available for a snack credit.

2. At this time, you can do that. Always subject to change.

Disney does not publish a full list of snack credits, but when you are there, if an item is available for a snack credit it will have a purple square icon next to it on the menu. Most snack credit eligible items are around $5 or less--typically, ice cream, fruit, pretzels, cupcakes, popcorn, non-alcoholic beverage etc.

You can also redeem snack credits at the resort gift shop for bagged snacks and candy if you have snack credits to spend on your last day.

We have not used the dining plan for several years, so maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong. You're grandkids dining plan credit will only cover for options off the children's menu, so using their dining credits for the 2 adult meals is not going to work.

There is a bit of a "loophole" on the deluxe dining plan whereas all meals...children and adults...are all lumped together. There is no distinction between the two.

Well, we have the meals booked

Friday
Character Breakfast at Ohana
Lunch at Tony's with the VIP parade tickets
And dinner will be with Winnie the Pooh at the Crystal Palace

Saturday will be a quick breakfast at the Resort
And lunch will be with Safari Donald and friends at Animal Kingdom!

That's a bunch of food to pack into a day and 3/4 but an 8:40 pm flight home will have us eating dinner at the airport on Saturday.

We are counting the days!

Even paying for two not on the plan for dinner AND paying for the four of you for ALL meals, you're still going to have credits left over. Grab something from your resort's "grab n go" to have for dinner at the airport that night. You're probably going to be grabbing snacks too.

I want to vacation with you!!

That’s a lot of food in one day. I would have to pass on the midday meal and have a snack. Or maybe just an app. I know I can’t do 3 ts meals in a day. Not to mention the time suck. Plan on 4-5 hours Dining. Including travel time and wait time and eating time. More power to you!

Yeah I know, I am sure I will leave plenty on the table, we have a short time window so we are squeezing as much in as we can......and hope for sleeping grandkids on the flight home
