Hi - Sorry for the basic question. If we choose to purchase the dining plan, is it based on the number of days for our park tickets or the number of nights we stay at the resort? I am confused. We are staying for 6 nights and have a 7 day ticket. Do we have meals for each day or do we only have six?

My understanding is that the dining plan is based on your resort reservation, not your park tickets. Therefore, you would only get 6 days worth of meals.

DDP is based on the number of nights in the resort, so you would have 6 nights worth of DDP.

Thanks. In order to stretch an extra day could we share a meal? I heard that many meals can actually serve two people. Is there a shared plate charge or just not allowed?

I'm not sure about sharing meals, but you can use your credits on your 7th day after you check out of the resort. You have until 11:59pm on your check out day to use your credits, so depending on what plan you decide to use, if you don't use all of your credits on your check-in day, you can use them on your check out day.

Yes to the sharing/splitting, no to the extra plate charge. Except usually Beaches & Cream won't allow sharing - each diner has to order a meal and use a credit. And of course not at buffets or family-style service, or on 'shared' entrees like the Skillet Dinner at the restaurant at Wilderness Lodge.

Great! That will work then. Now we will have to schedule our reservations and then comes the hardest part... waiting patiently. Thanks again!
