Dining plan question

Hi All,

I will be making my first reservation shortly and I have a dining plan question. Do I need to purchase a park ticket in order to purchase the dining plan? I know that when we stayed at a resort we had to have at least a 1 day park ticket in order to get the dining plan. Thanks in advance!

No, DVC members reserving thru MS (either on points or cash) can add the DDP by itself. No admission tickets are required to add the plan via DVC.

Thanks! That is what I thought but I just wanted to make sure!

But you have to let MS know 48 hours before you arrive that you want to add the DDP. I normally do it whenever I make my reservation. They will also tell you how much it will cost for tthe length of your stay.
