Is Rainforest Cafe and T Rex included?

Is there a list of resturants that are included for 2009?

Thanks
Kristin

No, they are not.

The 2009 list is incomplete as it does not have any of the restaurants that are not owned by Disney on it yet.

Rainforest and T-Rex will take the premium and platinum plans only, not DDP or DXDDP.

ok, does anyone have the cost of the premium and platinum figured out per day? per adult? per child?

:-) Thanks!

Premium plan $159 per adult per night, $109 per child.
Platinum plan $209 per adult per night, $144 per child.

These plans include resort recreation, show tickets, park tours, fireworks viewing, and a lot of other stuff besides dining.

This is the 2009 regular dining plan brochure. Keep in mind that the listed restaurants are only the ones owned by Disney. The others have not been added yet.

eh, nevermind, i'll stick with the basic plan...we'll pay out of pocket if we decide on t rex. thanks for all the help!!

does the dining experience card work there?

our friend have one that will be dining with us? would we be able to get our food discounted as well if it was included?

at T-Rex? No, they don't accept it.

But at a participating restaurant, your friend would be able to get you the discount. It's good for up to 10 people. Everything has to be on the same bill, though.

Not that I plan on going to TRex. But out of curiosity do they honor the Safari Club card?
That may be an option for some.

Have the restaurants changed much from year to year? If I look at the 2008 list, how probable is it that the same restaurants will participate in 2009? How many in DD participate? Dh is really interested in House of Blues so we'll pay OOP if needed but it'd be great if it's included.

Only one restaurant has ever dropped out - Fulton's apparently declined to participate after 2005.

House of Blues has never participated in the dining plan.

At Downtown Disney, the only options since 2005 have been Cap'n Jack's, Raglan Road, Planet Hollywood and Wolfgang Puck Cafe, plus Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich for CS. And the Disney Quest restaurant, but you have to be in Disney Quest for that. I'd guess it would be the same in 2009.
