Dining Plan Question...

We are going to be honeymooning in Disney for a total of 10 days and want to do the Deluxe Dining Plan. We also will have a 10 day park hopper pass.

We just figured out which restaurants we want to eat at and we only need 48 table service credits (for both of us -- 24 each)... which would be a dining plan for 8 days

Is it possible for us to book the dining plan for only 8 days worth of food and use it over the course of 10 days?

Thanks!

You must book the dining plan for the entire length of your reservation. Dining credits are allocated according to how many nights you stay, not days.

If you are staying 10 nights on your resort reservation, you must book it for all 10 nights. You'd have to have two separate reservations if you wanted to have DDP only for certain nights.

I see your trip is in 2009. You may want to see if there are any changes to the 2009 plans before you make permanent decisions.

Even if you do a 8 night stay with the DDP and do a 2 night stay without you can not carry any unused credits over to the 2 night stay. at 12 midnight of the check out date of the 8 day stay your credits expire. If your off days are between the on days this would not work. If you switch the the standard DDP and pay OOP for the lesser priced restaurants how would that work out?:cool1: :hippie:
