Hi,

I'm a DVC member and PAP holder. I have DDE and it has saved me alot of money on my past 2 trips.

We will be going to WDW again in August and October and I'm considering adding the DP to my reservation.

Is it worth it to us the DP for Mickey's Backyard BBQ? The price for an adult is $39.01 including tax and tip. It counts as 2 meals on the dining plan. The children's cost is 25.00 so it may we worth it for the kids. Any experts out there please give me your advice.

What would you consider to be the best values when it comes to using the DP?

Thanks so much.

Kathy

I can't answer your question, but thought you might could answer mine. Is the DVC member dining plan the same as the one everyone else uses? Same restaurants, same # of credits, etc.?

DVC dining plan is the same except it is not connected to any park ticket.

I personally don't thnk that the Backyard BBQ is the best use of two dining credits for adults. However, you might stretch a day by say using the two for the Backyard BBQ, and using your CS at The Pepper Market. I would consider the Hoop Dee Doo in place of the BBQ, no characters, but plenty of entertainment and a better value for your dining credit!
