As of right now we are planning 4 nights at BWV in a one bedroom (I'm a DVC owner)Dec. 23-27 and then moving to Contemporary Atrium Club for the last three nights Dec. 27-30. We booked a package (just got one one day pass each) so we could get the dining plan. I'm also an AP holder and on a whim today, I checked AP rates. The Grand Floridian Honeymoon Concierge room popped up for Dec. 23-27. It's actually $105 and some change cheaper than the three nights at the Contemporary Atrium Club but of course there is no dining package available since it's an AP rate. Member services (DVC) was closed so I have to call Monday. If I can switch the DVC nights to the last three nights of our honeymoon (Dec. 27-30), then we could get the AP discount at the GF for the first for nights (Dec. 23-27). I went ahead and got my sis to book it for me (she's a disney travel specialist) and we held it with a one nights deposit. My dilemma is, if everything works and I can get the DVC dates switched, then should I switch? If I hadn't booked the dining plan it would be a no brainer. Just a little background. We were married Dec. 22, 2005. We have waited an entire year to take our honeymoon. Dh has never been to Disney and I really want him to like it. We have the Candlelight Processional booked for Dec. 23 (not using dining plan for it), Artist Point booked for Dec. 24 (not using dining plan), Hoop Dee Doo for Dec. 25 (planning on using dining plan), Luau for Dec. 26 (planning on using dining plan), and Citrico's for Dec. 27 (planning on using dining plan). We can still get the dining plan for the last three nights staying on DVC points so we would have it for three nights instead of 7 nights. Now if I haven't totally confused everyone, any thoughts? What would all of you do?
