Dining Plan options with DVC

Can we add the Dining Plan without adding charging privileges to our KTTW card?

We are going to let our girls bring friends and we are considering getting the quick service dining plan for everyone but we don't want the kids and their friends to be able to charge to our room keys.

Yes. You can decline charging privileges for their cards.

Remember all the dining credits will be pooled if you are all on the same reservation, though, if it makes a difference that each one spends their own credits.

Thanks....and yes, that is one thing that makes me hesitate. Trying to make sure everyone is only using their own credits each day.

Also, knowing my girls won't eat dessert, so I am not sure it is the best way for us to go.

I am also considering getting $40 gift cards and giving it to each of them each day (which is about the same cost as the quick service dining plan). Then they can just get what they want with it.

So I am torn between these two options. But I liked the idea of them only having to carry the one card.
