Dining Plan-just returned

We just got back from using the dining plan. We did not have any of the trouble I have read about on this board. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable about the plan. We were originally going to buy the plan, but we ended up getting it free. We had 2 sit down and 3 counter service credits leftover. It was nice having the plan but we were not trying to stuff ourselves, so if we weren't hungry we didn't eat. A few mini reviews:

1900 Park Fare-excellent food, character interaction is not great-took forever for Cinderella to get to our table. Prince Charming never even came on our side of the room. We didn't care, but just a warning

Chef Mickeys-decent food, great character interaction

CRT Lunch-food not so good, the Princesses were wonderful

Sci-Fi-very fun as usual, food was fine, gave glow cubes as part of dining plan

Prime Time-a hoot, food good, let us have milkshake as a drink or dessert with dining plan

Pepper Market- a great deal for dining plan counter service. Very tasty food and a great selection.

Can I ask what you ordered at CRT lunch. It was a tradition of ours before it was changed to a character lunch. Thanks.

My DH ordered the Major Domo. He liked it, but I didn't like it. I had the Focaccia sandwich and it was not good at all. I guess I should have ordered the pasta. The kids meals seemed okay. My DS had the chicken strips. My DD also had the focaccia sandwich. The dessert was excellent! It is a blueberry muffin-type thing with lemon sorbet and creme fraiche. My son liked the chocolate crown that came on top of the children's sundae.

Pirateofthecarolinas- we got back from Disney just in time to see the second half of that debacle! I am so deflated that I can't even think of a snappy comeback!

WDWAurora-You are smarter than I am! I actually thought we were going to beat them. After the horror (ha!) of last year I was ready for a win! It looks like it is going to be another long season for Wolfpack football!
