Dining plan glitch

Anyone else encounter this problem? We checked into AKL on 1/1/06 with the dining plan and for some reason, TS and Snacks were credited but not CS. We had to charge all of our CS to our room and save all the receipts. A bit of a hassle, but it all worked out in the end.

Glad to hear it worked out, but if it were me, the first time I found out that there were no TS on my card, I would have gone to the Concierge Desk or Guest Relations at AKL and asked that they "fix" the card.

it happened at check-in and for whatever reason, they said they couldn't fix it.

The only glitch I encountered last year: During my second to last day on our last vacation, we had 1 CS left per person. We ordered our lunch at Earl of Sandwich and they were having problems with their little card machine. It appeared that the transaction did not go through the first time they ran the card. When they ran it again, they said we had no more CS credits left. I knew they were wrong but didn't feel like holding up the long line arguing. I ended up paying OOP for that meal but while I was eating, I got on the phone with my resort and explained the situation. They informed me that Earl of Sandwich had charged our last CS credits ( apparently, the transaction did actually go through the first time ). I pointed out to the CM to look at my room charges and they saw that we had charged the Earl of Sandwich lunch to our room just minutes before. It was all corrected in about 5 minutes as the CM added back the 3 CS credits to our account and we were able to use those on our last half-day there. Worked out well because Earl of Sandwich happened to be our cheapest CS of the trip, so it was a good one to pay OOP for.

It happened to us also. We checked in on January 1st, and they said that they thought it was the way the computers read the new year. We just saved receipts, and had it corrected at the end of our stay.
