Could someone please explain the Dining plan options for DVC owners ?
i was reading on mary's site, but i cannot find anything on how the diing plan works for DVC staying on points. do you pay the $40/pp only or can you use points?
thank you
DVC does get some sort of discount on DDP. We have gotten it the last two years. I don't think they advertise it but when I have gotten it in the past I paid way less than they advertise. Around 20%.

That is incorrect. There is no DDP discount for DVC members. Annual Passholders can purchase the TIX, formerly known as the DDE. This card gives you 20% off of virtually all Disney operated table service restaurants.
Well if it is incorrect I am getting one heck of a deal on my Deluxe Dinning Plan for this July. It should cost me around $1200 at the advertised price, I am paying 900.![]()

How many nights, how many people, and what ages?
The Deluxe DDP is about $72 per adult (age 10+) per night of the reservation, and $21 per night per child 3 to 9.
Two adults, two children for 5 nights. The kids are 6 and 8.
Last year we got it as well and it was $899. This year they went up but my total was only slightly higher. And yes this was the deluxe.
