Yes I am a lurker and a DVC member. I need some help, my brain has cramped or melted on me.

My wife and I are staying on points in the fall. I remember reading someplace that you could now buy just one plan instead of having to buy the total number of guests staying on points.

Am I making sense or just wishful thinking? We don't eat enough to justify buying dining for both of us.

DVC member services told me today that I had to buy one plan for each of us?

Again, brain cramp on my end. Thanks for the help!

Member Services is correct. You do have to purchase for each person on the reservation.

You were dreaming.

You may have been confused with people that book two or more rooms and share the dining plan credits with family members or others not staying in their room.

Maybe But I would almost swear I read something somewhere about DVC members were going to be able to buy just one plan and it not be based on the number of guests in the room...

I am just getting older I guess... isn't the mind the first thing that goes

That would be great but not likely. For a very little while they let us book a different DDP or none at all for each night of our stay but it turned out to be a tech nightmare.

No always been everyone in the party has to get the plan... I know what your saying 1 of my kids eats like a bird and we have to get him the plan all the time
