HI - we are going on the 4 day land and 3 day sea from July 3 - 10. My TA said that all the food both land and sea was included - from reading the boards it does not appear so - can anyone clarify - or advise what the cost of the dining package would be for 2 adults and an 8 yr old. :confused3

Dh and I got the Dining plan for our most upcoming trip. It cost us about $35 per person per day

short answer is no. WDW is working on something for the land part but nothing yet. the cost is 35 for adults and 10 per day for kids

You cannot add dining to a land/sea package. Your meals are only included on board the ship, not on land. Sounds like you got some bad information. Maybe there was a miscommunication.

:confused3 :sad2: thanks for the info - yes I guess I got some wrong info --- however now I am really worried - I did a PartyLite show for my TA last night and found out that she got let go / quit about 10 days after we booked my trip --- what else did she tell me wrong --- is my trip secure -- I can't find out until Tuesday because of the holiday and I am really worried. Any suggestions?

I would be on the phone first thing Tuesday and talked to the manager/owner of the agency. Tell him or her you are concerned about misinformation and ask that your trip be checked over with a fine tooth comb. I would ask for a return call or email that everything has been double checked and is ok. If there are any problems, you should have time to fix them since you aren't going till July.

You could look into spending the additional money for the dining plan and what restaurants are included (and all the other details) at the Disney site. But, IMHO if I were doing the land and sea trip, I would just pay for food on the land portion as I go. Here is my reasoning: 1. The restaurants included in the dining plan are limited. 2. The amount of food that is included is really huge, and since I know I would be eating reallllll well on the cruise, I would not want to eat so much during the land portion. Also, just so you know. DCL handles anything when it comes to having any cruise as part of the vacation, and from past experience, they get a bit flustered and confused when you try to do anything differently (for us it was adding an extra day to the land part) than the 3/4 combo they are used to. So, if they are not very used to having DCL customers buying into the meal plan, chances are there may be some confusion. Good luck on making sure all the other details of your vacation are in order.
