Hi all, new to the board. Was trying to clarify how the dining plan add on works. If you add the dining plan to DVC stay is it the full "Magic Your Way" Dining Plan (i.e. including park tickets), or is it a stand alone dining plan? Also, what is the pricing...can't find a breakdown anywhere. Thank you very much for any help.

Best,

J.P.

What's the latest on the seasonal price adjustment for the regular DDP?

What's the latest on the seasonal price adjustment for the regular DDP?

Regular season is $42.00 A/$12.00 and Peak Season is $47.00 A/$13.00 C. I'd post what dates are Peak, but I'm too lazy to search for it. ;)

The 2010 rates I posted were from the member website. Looks like there will not be an adjustment on the DVC dining plans.
I noticed this too when looking at the member site. I hope it is true and stays this way for all of 2010 because it would save us $120 on our 10-night trip!

Well whaddya know...the long-sought after dining plan discount for DVC members... ;) (if only at peak season times)

I would just add, though that the member website is not exactly a model of efficiency when it comes to posting updated information, so it's possible that the adjustment could still be made. Perhaps not likely, and for those getting the DP, I hope it stays this way (for me, I couldn't care less).

But you do need tickets if you plan on going into the theme parks.

Thanks everybody. I of course found the DVC Dining sticky 30 sec after my original post and apologize for starting a new thread. Appreciate the clarification on the tickets.

I'll be surprised if the "no seasonal adjustment" price holds true, it may not be adjusted, but it sure seems unlikely that they would charge that difference to their cash guests and not DVC, unless they are re-thinking the seasonal DDP adjustment all together.

I was reading some reviews of some of the kidsclubs (which we might do for a night next summer) & one reviewer mentioned that if you got the deluxe dining plan, the price for the kidsclubs was included? Is that possible? That can't be right-it must be talking about that super deluxe plan-can't remember what it's called.....
Does anyone know what I'm referring to? :confused3
Thanks!

That's if you buy a Platinum (and maybe also a Premium) MYW package - it includes dining, resort, tickets, and a bunch of other stuff. Not applicable to DVC points stays.

Okay, thanks for clarifying.....I knew it was too good to be true! (since we have 3 kids, the kids clubs get very pricey for just one night) Never done it before, but thought we might give it a try. They should offer a package like that for DVC members staying on points-of course it would have to be modified but why not offer it to us? Oh well, it would prob cost way too much anyway!

:goodvibes
