We'll be arriving at Disney on January 1st, and I have our confirmation papers and vouchers for our trip. Will the CMs at the POFQ front desk give us a brochure about the dining plan, with a list of participating restaurants, and go over the plan with us when we check in? Thanks!

You can try mouseforless.com. They have a great pocket sized brochure that you can fold up- very helpful, also lists what is 2 credits

When I checked in at AKL they did not discuss the dining plan with me or provide me with a brochure. However, later in the evening I went to the Lobby Concierge desk and the CM there provided me with the brochure and was happy to discuss any questions I had (she was also able to fix the problem I had because Planet Hollywood had charged me 4 TS credits instead of 3 - even though I had already misplaced the bill and had paid cash for the kid's meal so I had no record with me - I was having a bad day already and the CM took pity on me after I told her that).

When we checked in at AKL on 11/27, the CM gave us a dining plan brochure that is more current than the one on the Disney World website. It gives more details on what's included for snacks and how they're using a new purple DDP logo at the CS restaurants and vending carts. If you don't get one, ask for one.

I would recommend downloading the PDF file and start making those advanced reservations now! I am assuming you haven't, please pardon me if you already have.

It's kind of funny - I checked in on the same day as you in the same hotel and obviously we got completely different service by the Check in CM's.

The CM checking us in wanted to go over the plan with me and I played dumb and just let her explain it. She put the brochure in a big yellow folder with resort info in it.

We had a voicemail saying our CP tickets were ready to pickup at the front desk. So we went down to get them and the CM helping me kept saying I should wait to get them another couple of days - she was worried I'd lose the badges. I went along with her because I really didn't care, but DH and I laughed since I am so anal about keeping all our documents together. I thought, I kept all our other stuff from getting lost, I think some badges would be okay in my possession. I went down the day before our CP and the CM was glad to prepare the stuff for me.

The CM who checked me in didn't even manage to put all four of our room cards into the envelope let alone mention about the dining plan.

The DP wasn't mentioned when we checked in at YC. I asked for a brochure when I realized we hadn't received one.

When we checked in at the BCV we were given a brochure and an added flyer which outlined what could be used as part of the F & W Festival. The CM explained it all in detail to me.
