Dining Plan Breakdown

We (family of 4, 2 adults, 2 kids 6 & 9) are just back from 6 nights with the free dining. This was our first time on the plan and I tried to keep track of everything. We also dined with My Mom and Niece but I didnt track their plan.

Our opinion of the plan overall is it is too much food for us. While we do eat a lot on vacation, it's not usually all at our meals (we prefer icecream later in the parks as opposed to dessert with our meals, etc..). We would never have ordered this much food, so I can’t really say whether it would be worth it for us if we were paying for it. However, being free, it was an amazing deal and quite an experience. We were not 1 bit hungry for the entire week. And we left a lot of food unfinished.


Here is the breakdown of where we used out credits and the price. The one “estimate” here is ESPN as we had a huge mess up with our bills, and all our credits being used and then credited, and wrong things charged, etc… So we estimated 2 kids meals and 2 hockey pucks (which they were given even though it was an adult dessert) plus tax & tip for that meal.

I should also note if we had bought the package it would have cost $587.76.

Overall total- $985.33!!!

We paid approximatley 100.00 OOP for things like DH & my meal at ESPN, a mug, miscellaneous drinks(juice milk waters) at breakfast & in the parks, miscellaneous breakfast item, and extra tips, etc... I tallied just about 89.00 for this, but I'm sure I missed a few waters during the day at the parks, so I'd estimate $100.00. The only thing I didnt track was the cost of drinks at the various lounges we visited.

We also saved $59.23 using the DDE
