Hi Everyone,

We have a split stay coming up. We planned to purchase the dining plan for our first reservation. However, we spoke to a cast member who said that if we have any unused credits on our checkout day, we have to use them before we check in to our next hotel or we lose them.

Does anyone know if this is true?

We are concerned because we wanted to use one meal credit for dinner on checkout day and don’t want that to prevent us from checking in to our second hotel.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I have experience. You have until midnight to use those credits. We checked out of POFQ with DDP, checked into Poly without a DDP, then ate at 'Ohana and used our last DDP credits there. I read that sometimes there might be a glitch and you may have to get it straightened out at the front desk, but we did not hit that glitch.

There are ways around this. For example use a QS credit for a light dinner on check-in day and then use 2 TS credit's later in the stay at one of the fancier locations like Topolino's. I did this last trip.
