and probably a few more! ;)

Anyway, I just read you can add the Dining Plan onto a DVC stay. Does this apply to me, who will be renting points for my stay? How does this work, same cost as everyone else and do we have to buy park tickets in order to get it? (AP holders!)

Sofa Beds? Are they comfortable? Am I right in seeing that OKW is the only resort with TWO beds instead of the one bed/sofa bed combo? Speaking Studios here of course.

While I would prefer BCV or BWV, I really don't want to have to park in a parking lot and walk a mile to our room. Looking at maps, it seems OKW and SSR both have parking all over, so you can essentially park pretty close to your room. Am I right or wrong here?

Thanks!

Yes the dining plan applies to you. And no when using DVC points for the reservation you do not have to have tickets to use the dining plan. It is $37.99 for adults (10 and over) and $10.99 for children (3-9) per person per night. You do still have to have it booked for the entire length of the reservation though. It has to be pre-booked through Member Services, it can not be added on at the hotel (although you will pay for it at the hotel, not in advance). If you are renting points from a member, you will just need to contact them and let them know you are interested in it and they will have to have it added to the reservation. It is not yet avalaible for current reservations (not sure when you are coming) it will be avalaible for reservations checking in on or after April 1, 2006.

You are correct OKW is the only resort that offers 2 queen beds in the studios, all other DVC properties have 1 queen and a sleeper sofa. The new sofa beds are nice. If I am correct all the resorts have been switched over to the new mattress' which are a lot better than your average sleeper sofa mattress. The ones we have stayed in that had already been switched over were quite comfortable.

Again you are correct. OKW and SSR have many buildings, so parking is right in front of your building. All the other DVC properties are all one building so there is a main parking lot for everyone and you would have to walk to your room. Beach Club has pretty good parking for the Villas not to far to walk, but the other resort park areas are a little further away.

Thanks for the reply CDS! I am glad to hear that BCV's parking isn't too bad, as that is my first choice.

And congrats on the "Little Engineer",and good luck!

Not all the sleeper sofas have been changed out. Bldg 35 at OKW still had the old ones.

Anyone know if the BCVs have changed out their sofa beds? I got an email from someone saying that they weren't very good at all, very uncomforable! But maybe they haven't been since they were changed. Anyone know for sure?

As of two weeks ago, it was the same awful mattresses and sofa beds at the BCV's.....Hopefully they will be starting this process of changing them soon!

OK, what about BWV? Are those sofa beds good ones? And what about VWL?
