Dining Plan and Rivers of Light Packages - Please help me understand

I am planning a trip in November and am trying to nail down my ADRs. On our Animal Kingdom night, I was planning to use 1 TS credit for the Tusker House and to see Rivers of Light afterwards, but now I'm looking at the Rivers of Light Dining Packages, and I'm confused.

Am I correct that a ROL Dining Package at Tusker House costs only 1 TS credit? What's the catch here? I mean, it's like they are throwing in the prime seating for ROL for free isn't it? Is it less of a meal? Maybe no dessert? I feel like I must be missing something.

It's a buffet so it's the same meal for ROL and non-ROL.

In general, the seating packages are used to fill restaurants at non-peak times.
