Dining plan and resort question

How exactly is the dining tied to our resort stay? We are looking at staying 10/22-10/28 or 10/21-10/27, 6 nights and 7 days. Our hoppers are for 7 days, is the meal plan also 7 days? Also, we are considering checking in 10/21 and not using our hoppers until 10/22, but we will have to get a hotel at the end to use that last day on the hopper. Our hoppers would still be good for 7 days, but would our meal plan start on 10/21 at checkin and stop on 10/27?

Your meal plan is good for each night of your stay. If you're in WDW from 10/21 to 10/27, you would need to use any remaining meals or snacks by midnight on 10/27. Have fun planning those dining reservations!

The dining plan is based on the number of NIGHTS you will be staying. All of your dining credits will be loaded onto your KTTW cards when you check in and will be available immediately. They expire at 11:59 PM on the day you check out.

If you add one more night to the end of the same reservation, you'll have one more night's worth of dining credits. If you make a separate reservation (e.g. moving to a different room category or a completely different resort) that is a separate reservation and won't be covered by your current dining plan.
