Dining plan and prepay at the Castle?

I understand that dining at the Castle will require two table credits under the Disney Dining Plan, but when I reserved lunch for late Feb 2006, I had to prepay in full. If I buy the dining plan now, can I get my money back if I use the credits for this meal? Does anyone know how that would work? Also, does anyone know how it will work for my 18 month old? Will she just have to scarf off of everyone else's plates? She's a big eater, so I'm a little worried.

You should be able to get a refund. We are going to CRT for breakfast in Jan. We decided to do a package and add dining after we made the ADR. When I called the CM I talked to refunded our deposit. Good luck!!

I have the dining plan and made ADR's at Cindy's this morning. My credit card was still needed to hold my reservation. The dining CM that I spoke with said it will only be charged if we needed to cancel and didn't do so within 24 hours or if we didn't show at all.

We also booked CRT before switching to the dining plan. They charged $20 to our cc to hold it. Well I just called and told the cm that we would be using the dining plan and what would happen to my $20. She said they would refund it at the podium when you check in for your ps. Just tell them then. CM said they can't refund it now because they would have to cancel it and rebook and we could lose our time slot. That is all I know about it. Hope it helps.
