Dining plan and DVC

Quick question I'm hoping someone can help me out with. We're leaving for the world on Sunday with a big group, all staying on my parent's DVC points. DH and I would like to add the Dining plan to our room. Can someone give me the info on where I should call to do this and if there is a time period I have to book it by (3 days out, etc)

You have to have your Mom call DVC to add the DDP to your room. They won't let you do it. They will ask for her member info and stuff. Any additions or changes need to be done by the DVC owner. We went through all this last year lol

My understanding is that as long as you add the DDP before checking in, you're good.

You also have to add DDP for everyone registered in the same room. You don't say whether you and your husband have your own room, but if you do not, everyone in the room with you would have to also get the dining plan in order for you to get it.

and it's not anytime before check-in...must be done no later than 2 days before check-in. So I think you would need to have it added before Friday.

We've forgotten the 48 hours before booking before and were not able to add the DDP.

Thanks she tried to call last night and the office was closed I'll have her call again today so we don't miss out window! Thanks again I didn't know about the 48 hour rule.
